Why must the current encryption standards be updated? The case of Post Quantum Cryptography.
"The American organization NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) announced in 2016
the launch of a program and competition to upgrade standards in cryptography.
The program's objective is to replace public key encryption algorithms
and digital signatures with algorithms that are secure against quantum computer attacks.
In this talk, we will examine the reasons that led to this competition,
and we will present the algorithms selected by NIST."
