Patras

Patras is the third largest city in Greece. It's known for its Carnival, which is one of the largest in the world. The city is built right next to the sea and the most famous sights are the Ancient Roman Conservatory which is used for a large number of shows in the summer, Georgiou I Square, the church of Saint Andreas, the Apollon theater and many more!

It is widely known for the sudents living here, who bring a vividness and a powerful energy in the city. University of Patras has over 30.000 students and many different departments. The University was founded on 1964 and is the fourth largest of the country. The department of Electrical and Computer Engineering was founded on 1967.
