Kyriakos Chatzidimitriou has graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), where he received his diploma in 2003 and his PhD in 2012 with excellent marks. In the meantime, he studied at the Department of Computer Science of the State University of Colorado, where he received his master¨s degree in 2006. In 2009, he was awarded the Excellence Scholarship for Doctoral Candidates by the Research Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2012, he and his team Mertacor ranked first in an international software and e-commerce contest. He works as a researcher and software architect at the Laboratory of Information Processing and Calculation of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of AUTh ,on european (SEAF, Mobile Age, S-CASE, CASSANDRA, Agent Academy), national and private funded research projects and as a rapporteur in postgraduate courses. He is interested in the fields of mechanical learning, artificial intelligence, software technology and software autonomous agents. In 2017, he and Andreas Symeonidis founded Cyclopt, a technoclast of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, focusing on software quality assessment and software analysis.
