Cloud Telemetry & 5G: The Connectivity of Centaurus Racing

CRT

Centaurus Racing utilizes a telemetry system based on the latest cloud services combined with 5th generation mobile network technology to achieve fast, reliable, and location-independent connectivity with the monocoque.

For the team's purposes, we have decided to use Grafana Live as the Dashboard that will reside in the cloud, in a Python script that will send data from the car to the cloud, and in Telegraf, which approximately handles the conversion of data structures from one platform to another.

In the workshop, you will gain a basic understanding of the operation and coordination of this ecosystem. From configuring Telegraf, writing the Python script, to formatting the dashboard with the data just received.
